This is the exact replacement of the original collapsible paddle. It functions exactly as it should. The original paddle became very stiff to move after one year’s use - twice a week - despite being carefully cleaned as instructed.
The item was shipped on time, it was well packaged. The combined price and shipping cost were less than the manufacturer’s quote and far less than some other sources.

The paddle opening was a little stiff to put on at first, but once on, it works great! Very happy with this purchase

Arrived very promptly from Forum Appliances. No improvement over the original design... collapsible action is still stiff after making a loaf. I've been able to clean it pretty well using hot water and a Proxabrush (a kind of tooth brush). I had to dismantle the first paddle several times over it's lifetime (using a hex wrench) to free it up.
